Hi All,
I have done SSO config with uidpw and was not bale to user mapping....
When I logged into the portal and in identity management/user management I'm not able to access User Mapping for System Access Tab. It is showing a statement as There are no systems available for user mapping for the selected principal.
What could be the reason??
Thanks.
Venkat.

Hi Venkat,
Check the below link for various reasons. It depends on system alias property " User Mapping Type"
admin = This system is displayed in the user mapping administrator tool
user = This system is displayed in the user mapping tool for end users
admin, user = This system is displayed both in the user mapping administrator tool and in the user mapping tool for end users
If this property is not defined for a system, the system does not appear in the user mapping function

Koti,
I have changed the system setting and able acess that User Management tab . I gave userid and password and saved that. When I'm testing the Iview through portal role for which I gave the system alias , it is asking for logon credentials with userid, password fields and a logon button there and states that NO User mapping was defined for the said system
After this I did conection tests , SAP WEB AS connection, ITS connection , Connector ,
Every test status was set to 'X'.
The Test results for Web AS connection was
1. The system ID is valid
2. The system was retrieved.
3. The system object represents an SAP system
4. The following parameters are valid: Web AS Protocol (https) Web AS Host Name (xxxxx:8020)
5. The host name cgslsvr3 was resolved successfully.
6. The server cgslsvr3 was pinged successfully.
7. The Web AS ping service https://XXXXX:8020/sap/bc/ping was not pinged successfully. If the ping service is not activated on the Web AS, you can try to call the ping service manually.
8. An HTTP/S connection to https:/XXXX:8020sap/bc/webdynpro was not obtained successfully; this might be due to a closed port on the Firewall.
The test Result for ITS connection was
1. The system ID is valid
2. The system was retrieved.
3. Retrieval of the default alias was successful
4. The system object represents an SAP system
5. The following parameters are valid: ITS Protocol (http) ITS Host Name (XXXXX:8020)
6. The host name cgslsvr3 was resolved successfully.
7. The server cgslsvr3 was pinged successfully.
8. User mapping is not valid
9. An HTTP/S connection to http://XXXXX:8020/sap/bc/gui/sap/its was not obtained successfully; this might be due to a closed port on the Firewall.
The Test result for connector was
Retrieval of default alias successful
Connection failed. Make sure that Single Sign-On is configured correctly
To add to this I'm using a user with ABAP source.
Pull me out ASAP
Thanks.
Venkat.
