Split in Demand Management

Hi

I am splitting the PIR in demand management using MD67 but problem is not getting uniform ditribution.

Example is...

Month Requirement: 1000

After week distribution: W1- 1020, W2- 975, W3- 1040, W4- 965

Required distribution: 250 in all weeks.

Please suggest hw to correct it?

Dear,

Goto MD62 transaction ->...schedule lines tab ->and give the period "W" week and select the next month demand in the column period"...you will get the split quantity there itself and then save this.it can be possible to do it automatically with transaction MD67 with period split. First define Define period split for automatic split OMPH.

In MD67

Enter - Plant, material or MRP controller(if you want to go for MAss maintanance)

Date

period split - weekly

History tick = on

Create list = On

No data base change = on for first time see the result and if every think is okay then remove thisn tick and execute

OR,

Go to MD61 and click on user parameter (Press F5) here you can define period indicator as W- week. And first screen of MD61 you can also select the planning period in week-W.

For SOP go to MC87 then header menu EDITPeriod splitTotal--Week.

Hi,

To split the PIR use tcode MD62. Goto schedule line tab page. Now select the line and press F6 or in top edit > period split online.

Now system will show one popup window. In this select period indicator W, enter rounding value 250. Now system will split the demand qty by weekly wise each having 250.
