VS 2005 Redistributable

I've written a simple VS 2005 vb.net app that I want to install on a server that already contains Crystal Reports Server. After install, I'm getting errors that make me believe I need to install the VS 2005 .NET redistributable package. Does that sound right? And if so, is "crredist2005_sp1_x86.zip" the correct file to download?

I don't remember the exact message, but it was something like "can't load crystaldecisions.crystalreports.engine". So that prompted me to change my CR references "copy local" to true. That got me past the initial error, but now I receive "The type initializer for 'CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument' threw an exception." So it still sounds like not all the DLLs are there.

Issue is on development or deployment machine?

Applied run times on server?

Check the versions of dll in assembly folder.

Please post your question with all the details in SDK forum.
