You need to have a message interface inbound type. Use the external defination in this message interface.
now go back to your interface mapping and locate this interface mapping. Read interfaces you will get the external definition as target and mapping program you are looking for.

which is the target interface did you use in the Interface Mapping? did you pick it from the external definition?
