BW PUBLISHER SERVICE

Hi Gurus,

I am in process of implementing BO Integration Kit for SAP

1) i have installed integration kit & i have specified the program id & host correctly, as per gateway service i have use sapgw00. after installation i am not able to start the BW Publishing service, if i try to start it manually, it gives me following error message " could not start BW publisher Service 12 service access denied"

I have no idea what does that mean, and i believe without turning the service on i wont be able to create the rfc connection .

Please help ASAP.

Hi Sophi,

In order to start your BW publisher service you must configure an RFC destination on your BW server (SM59).

Please have a look at the XI3_BIP_SAP_Installation guide from page 110.

Hi Sophi,

can you check that the user that is entered as the user for running the services has access rights to the actual executable ?
