Hi,
Our developement server runs on PI 7.0.
One of the customers is using XI 3.0.
My current scenarios include, few UDFs, Enhanced Interface determination, multi mapping and usage of node functions like UseOneAsMany.
I dont have a XI 3.0 server in my environment to check now.
Now the question is .... if I want to install this tpz in XI 3.0, What changes am i supposed to make to the existing developement?
please suggest
-Venkat
Hi Venkat
You need to take a look at the difference of SP version you have and equivalent if possible in XI 3.0. With this some modifications at code level will be there while moving to lower version.
UDF will make no difference till same external libraries are imported in XI 3.0 but Enhanced inerface determination and multi mappings may require changed while degrading the system.
Thanks
Gaurav

Hi Venkata
I couldnt get any info on the SP level of my customer's customer.
refer
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/c9/9844428e9cbe30e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
Mapping was almost direct mapping with 2-3 UDFs.
and we have used Multi mapping and Enhanced receiver determination in PI 7.0
Which version of XI 3.0 support Enhanced receiver determination and multi mapping?
UDF will not make any problem. XI 3.0 support Enhanced receiver determination from SP16
Thanks
Gaurav
Hi,
most important is the SP level.
For example SP 16 of XI 3.0 has the same features as SP 07 of PI 7.0.
To dump it down if the SP level of XI is at least 9 levels higher as SP level of PI you will have no problems. So you should find out the SP levels first.

Patrick
