Project WIP (Work in process) it is posting in place of FI to CO-PA

Hi Friends

When I'm Execute KKA2 & CJ88 for Project WIP (Work in process) it is posting in place of WIP A/c in FI it is posting to CO-PA.

Plz help me

Hi,

WIP should not post to COPA.

WIP always going to be in FI and PCA.

if your P&L WIP account created as a cost element,it is wrong.WIP P&L account shouldn't be a cost element.

Hi Rau,

I am working on the Engineer-to-Order scenario and am relatively new to Costing. I am working on the SAP best practices for IMC. What we did was installed the latest baseline V1.603 and now trying to implement the IMC scenarios manually. During the month end, the work in progress will be calculated for the production order or the project??. In the settlement profile attached to the production order, what should be the parameters. Whether it would settle to network or WBS element. If you have some document on the total process flow for Engineer-to order including product costing settings for the same, please send it across to me.
