Guys,

I have same sort of issue when im executing lsmw for gl balance uplaod,In FB01 system asks to put tax code and I updated the field with tax exempt code I0 cuz tax calc. is not required, still sysetm displaying the message maximum permitted number of internal tax items reached.I split the file and posted it but my question is why sysetm thinks of creating tax line items when there is tax code with zero rates defined, I0 or O0 tax code.

Because in many countries it is mandatory (tax regulatory authorities) to report those transactions even if they are non-taxable, i.e. exempt. In your case why not change the GL master record to make it a non-tax relevant GL a/c. and post?
