Unit of Measures

Hi Gurus,

I need to extract data in SQ01 to be able to get sale unit of measure for all my materials.

I tried MARA & MEINS field but this gives me Base unit of measures.

Can you please explain how does we get unit of measure in Sales Order and this is what I am trying to get.

It started with the problem when we do BW report for some analysis it gives us different unit of measures to analyse but we would like that it gives us report based upon sales unit of measures.

U can use table VBAP -- VRKEM ( Sales unit ) to get it from sales order or U can use table MVKE --- VRKEM this u will get against material MATNR

VKORG VTWEG.

If you want the sale UoM from the material master then use MVKE-VRKME. If you want from the sale order then use VBAP-VRKME.

Try SE16 + MVKE. (sales unit: MVKE-VRKME).

Dear Bawa.

the UOM basically comes from the material master general tab data.

Depending upon the material the UOM is chosen and then in the sales order it is been populated from there.

i think i have answered your query if any other please tell me.
