We started in 2005 with SBO, and we create about 30000 sales quotations, 15000 Sales orders, 20000 deliveries each year. Is there a possibility to clean up these files till a certain date.
Thx
Hi Andre,
as said above, there is no archiving function in SAP Business One as yet.
Customers using the Dutch or Israeli localisation may use the Year Transfer utility to create a new database when required. As a workaround, users of other localisations may use Copy Express to create a new database with tidied up master data. No documents can be transferred using the add-on, but DTW can bring those in.
You could hence create a new database with uncluttered master data, all settings, pld templates, user queries etc & then decide which documents you need to import using DTW & then also decide in conjunction with the accountant which journals must szeparately be transferred & which openening balances to use.
All the best,
Kerstin

There is no possibility of 'Archiving' in current versions of SAP B1.
But this functionality is there in the RoadMap of B1 for the future releases
