Hi,

there is no way t exclude assets from depreciation. Your auditors would not be very happy if this would be possible.

If you do not want to post depreciation for an asset, then assign depreciation key 0000 or MANU. This means then implicitely that the asset will not have any depreciation values calculated in these depreciation areas then.

Markus

Hi,

When you have it set the Asset shutdown bit, there is no longer depreciation

When this field is not available you can set up this in the fieldstatus group (tab Time-dependent data)

In the derpeciation key you have to say to that this allowed

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your information.

Could you please explain in Dep key where we have to maintain the settings for Asset shut down to be allowed?

Thanks

Hi NTH,

please search in the documentation at http://help.sap.com. There you find all information concerning shutdown.

there's a field on the key labeled 'shutdown'... it's not very hard to find but you have to look first.

Hi

Assign the ZERO Depreciation key in the asset master data.
