Characteristic Results not get recorded

Hi all,

Here we do Inspection at the time of Goods Issue against the Sales (customer) Order.

Lot has got generated. But, when I try to do Results Recording, it says Characteristic Results can not be recorded.

I opened the help page from the pop up window (message). It says that Material Master is desinged in such a way that Results Recording is not possible.

Please guide me.

Hi,

Pls cross check follwing

1) In the QM view of material master check weather control indicator ' check charc ' is activated or not if not activate it

2) In the inspection plan for that characterictics check control indicators " record result ' is activated .

Basically these three settings has to be maintained ...pls crocc check in QM view

Inspect with task list or Material spec

Automatic assignment

check characs

You mentioned inspec lot was created .What is the status of the lot?.

Thank you all for the inputs. Problem was due to the Sample Procedure that I have attached. We can not add Sampling Procedure when we use Inspection type 10.

Problem got solved.

What is the inspection type activated in the material master, it should be 10 or 11 .
