Material Type Change

Hi MM Experts....

Hope all Doing Great....

When i am trying to change the Material Type in T-Code: MMAM for a material its allowing to change for the open order material / Stock avble materials....

I need this should not be happen....

what is the procedure to proceed further.....

Please advice MM Experts....?

Hi,

First get list of Open PO List from ME2N for the material and activate deletion flag to them or lock them in ME22N.

Also move stock from this material to another using movement type 309 in MB1B and make its stock nil.

Then try MMAM.
