Update kernel

Hi,

I need update kernel but our R3 Production System is a ECC 6.0, with two application servers in Cluster.

How do it???

Just stop the system, patch the kernel in the CI and when you bring your DI up they should pull the kernel from the CI (asuming the environment is homogenous).

Hi Nerea,

As Juan said, apply the kernal patches to CI and the executable sapche.exe will pull out from CI to DI.

Hello Nerea,

Before upgrading the Kernel in the production system please test it for your DEV and QA systems.

You can follow SAP Note "19466 - Downloading SAP kernel patches" for this.

The DEV and QA systems are not clustered.

My problem is when the system is a cluster.

Hello Nerea,

As your PRD is cluster, please follow as suggested by Juan -" patch the kernel in the CI and when you bring your DI up they should pull the kernel from the CI ".
