Regading Goods Receipt

hi all

i am adding new goods receipt po from draft document in the previous date but the system genrates an error message "THERE IS A DOCUMENT OF THIS TYPE WITH LATER POSTING DATE " How i can add the document in the last dates

Hi Krishna,

This message is only a warning. If you know it is the right GRPO date, you can ignore it. You don't need to insisting create all your document as a last date because you may need to back date some documents to match actual transaction dates.

Hi Krishna

You need to go to Administration > System Initialization > Document Settings > General TAB > Block Documents with earlier Posting Date. Untick this block and it will post. Make sure you understand the impact on the customer before leaving it unticked permanently. You might have it ticked to prevent users from back dating transactions.
