insurance policy no creation

hi all

i would like to know how to create a Insurance Policy Number which is to be mentioned in the Insurance Tab page of Customer Master Data, also i want to know the creation and assignment of Insurance Company Name.

Hi Krishna,

You can create the following insurance data in customer master:

1) Insurance policy number

2) Insititution number

3) Policy amount

4) lead months

5) Valid to and

6) deductible amt in %

Hi,

Insurance tab in the cusotmer master Policy number is a freely definable field where you can give any number and save the data.

For maintaing insurance company name there is no specific field, but you indentify any field which is not being used and ask the user to fill that field and then you pick that value for smartforms or reports.
