Hi Experts,
What is the impact of changing the HTTP port to HTTPS.
Now we have both HTTP and HTTPS port opened and it is planned to close the HTTP port and have the HTTPS port alone.
Will there be an impact on any existing scenarios bcz of this..?

check in your present scenario ,XI makes a HTTP Post to any system or not. you can check in SM59 rfc destination.
if u r going for HTTPS , use this connection only in all ur scenarios.

As per my understanding If it will be changed to HTTPS then there will be no impact on applications only the way of communication will be changed because HTTPS used SSL.

To my understanding only the proxy uses the HTTP port to post the data to XI. Am i correct?
Once more query is that will this HTTP closing have any impact on the webservice scenario that is using SOAP adapter with transport protocol as HTTP.
