Using System.currentTimeMillis() , i get the current time in a Long format -
1. How to convert it to a format dd/mm/yy ?
2. How can I only get today's DATE and store it for future reference ?

HI,
you can also try
java.util.Calendar calendar = java.util.Calendar.getInstance();
after that use calendar.getTime().get(Date() or month() or year())
