Automatic Email at status change.

Hello experts,

I need your help about this:

I am configuring Service Desk Specific Scenario Settings -> Automatic Email at status change.

I made the configuration suggested as described SAP Note 691303.

Also I configured the status profile SLFN0002 and the Action profile SLFN0001_advanced, and assigned the status profile and action profile to the transaction type SLFN.

When we change the status of messages from "New" to "In process, the "AUTOMATIC EMAIL CREATION" action is getting generated and is shown in the "action" tab of the message with the status "Incorrectly processed". The description of the error message is as follows:

1) No communication data could be determined from address

No communication data could be determined from address

Message no. SPPF_MEDIA032

Diagnosis

No recipient could be determined for the transferred address.

Company address:

Personal address:

System Response

Processing cannot be performed.

Procedure

Check whether address data has been entered in the central address administration

for the required processing type.

2) No Recipient Is Available

3) Action could not be successfully executed

We have maintained email address of the business partener reporting the message in

Service desk in the transaction BP as well using transaction SU01 in SAP.

Business partners emails are mantained too.

SCOT is correctly configured and working OK.

Can you please suggest?

Do you see the mail in SOST ?

Did you try sending mail via Desktop ?

Hi,

both business partners' mail addresses need to be maintained. The senders' and the receivers'.

Which section in tx: BP did you maintain?

"Communication" or "Address-Indipendent Communication"?

I think only "Communication" is working.

I have maintained the address for both sender and receiver.

I have maintain in both "Communication" and "Address independent" area in BP.

Still same error is coming......

Also I have maintained server details in the identification tab.

Can you plz suggest?

Hi,

Server details means under identification tab

Enter ID Type "CRM001"

Identification No. as "System Name<space>Installation no<sapce>Client<space>Username"

User name should be same as in SU01. Also maintain user name under BP role "Employee" on identification tab.
