Hi All,
At the time of creating Numbering series there is a column called period indicator and value in that is default. Do I need to consider this at the time of implementation. What is the importance of this. Any implication if I put it default.
And Can I create number ranges every year if I put the period indicator as default?
Regards

Using Period indicators you can link each numbering series to a specific posting period, by relating the same period indicator both to the selected posting period and the selected numbering series.
To open this window choose: Administration > Setup > Financials > Period Indicators.

Shashi,
It can be left as default...you do not have to worry about subsequent years.
