Error while std. cost estimate when two By-products are used

Former Member

Hi PP Gurus,

I'm getting error for 2nd By-product message no. CK060 (Object was not costed) and message no. CK240 (Cost component split costed with value of zero). And for FG message no. CK241(Value of cost component split is less than zero). Though all the mater data is maintained properly.

If anybody already face this problem, please help me out of this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Abu Arbab

Hi Ashok,

Material master for FG, and By-products are maintained properly with Accounting and Costing views and BOM and Routing are also relevant to Costing.

hi

The cost of goods manufactured of the main product was more than compensated for by a by-product because of a combination in the quantity structure or because of an unrealistically high valuation price.

Reduce the price of second by-product and see teh costing.

check

the valuation strategies for the materials in the valuation variant

the definition of the cost components in the cost component structure

the assignment of the cost elements to cost components

the assignment of the cost component structure to a chart of accounts

the usage of the BOM or material list

the control keys of the operations

the relevancy to costing indicator of the BOM items

the procurement type of the material
