availability check for production order is considering deq rep

my problem is that when checking for missing parts, system considers planned orders (deq req) as a reservation. how can i restrict the system from doing this? i want system to not reserve or allocate as long as it is a planned order. these reservations are eating up the allocation thats supposed to be for the production order.

Hi,

Do you need of missing parts error? Really it is making you worthful? As per your suggestion "these reservations are eating up the allocation thats supposed to be for the production order."

Eventhough system alloted the item material to one prod order, you can use it for some other production order also.

Make settings in OPJK, missing parts error as a information or warning message, so that you can process further.

Hi,

Use tcode OPJJ, select your checking rule & checking control. In this, Incl. planned orders - Select Do not consider planned order.

Now system will not consider planned order for availability check.

To findout your checking rule, check in plant parameter tcode OPPQ, if you use MRP group check in tcode OPPR.

For Checking control, check in material master MRP3 view availability check.

I have already done that.

Here is my OPJJ settings:

Stocks:

Include safety stock

include stock in transfer

include QI

replenishment leadtime:

check without RLT

For In/outward movements:

nothing is checked

Inc dep reservations: X Include all reservations

Incl.rel.order reqs Do not check

Incl. planned orders Do not check

Incl. production orders X Take all production orders into account

In OPJJ for required availability check as per master data, Configure by selecting the required parameters on ur required specifications

Hi Sanvi, in oppj i have not checked dependent requirements as available stock. i also havent included planned orders in my avail check. why is the system letting planned order get the reservations?

Even the dependent reservation marked X and planned orders come into consideration while availability chedk.

Include only those parameters on which availabilty has to be done

i placed X because i do not want other production orders to get the reservation of my current production orders
