Hi,

For the standard material iam trying to change the ean number for EAN category IE.

I am changing the Ean number from 2050000000003 to 2049000000003(This number is with in the external number range). Iam getting the following error that the

The EAN Number 2049000000003 has an incorrect check digit.

you can not change the begining number ,

try to create a new number range as per your requirement and use it.

the digit 2049000000003 it self is a check digit..

as you have defined 2050000000003 earlier and now changing it to 2049000000003 ,

system checks with earlier number 2050000000003 and saying 2049000000003 digit is incorrect
