activity type

dear pp gurus,

i have created activity type , trying to assign in resource, giving error ,

No activity types assigned to cost center KNT, controlling area KNT on 07.10.2008

HI

you need to assign the activity type to the cost centre,

Pl maintain the activity prices against the cost centre and activity in KP26 for the required period or for th whole year.

Dear,

First you have to create the activity type using KL01,specify the required one ,then you have to plan for this activity type and cost center specified in the Workcenter master data in KP26.(Kindly consult with CO person for executing these transactions)

Then assign this cost center and activity type in workcenter master data ,then while creating an order as soon you specify the man hours required ,system will calculate the cost according to the planning done in KP26

Goto Tcode: KP26, enter:

Version: 0

From period:1 To period:12 Fiscal Year: 2008

your Activty type, cost center

Click on Overview tab on top and key in costing details in this screen.
