EC-PCA & COPA configuration for an additional company code

Hi Experts:

My client already has EC-PCA & COPA configured for an existing company code. The client wants to create an additional company code and wants the new C.code configured with both EC-PCA & COPA. Any tips regarding the easiest/ best way to do this?

Hi,

You will have to decide whether your companies operate under the same controlling area and operational concern. If yes, when you will have to assign the new company code to the existing entities in CO and create a master data (PCtrs).

Thanks Eli, that's what I thought. As per client requirement, the new company code will be assigned to the existing Controlling Area, which is attached to the operating concern.

Once the company code is assigned to the controlling area, the values will flow into COPA automatically.

Conversion of any data is a whole separate issue.
