navigational attributes of time dependent data is populating wrong data

QUESTION: Can we use navigational attributes of employee (0EMPLOYEE) in queries.0EMPLOYEE is having time dependent data.In queries navigational attribute of employee is always populating the data as of the day the query is executed. We are not able to use Key Date on the query, since it is allowing us to enter only one day. We want to execute all our time dependendent data queries by giving a range of date values like Jan01 2008 to Jul01 2008.

OR should we always map in the transformation to read master data of 0EMPLOYEE from start date as 0CALDAY.

Do SAP SUPPORT using navigational attributes of time dependent data in queries??????

Please confirm.

for you to do this, you need to have the attributes in the cube rather than master data tables.

it wont work your way because time dependent atributes do not store history unless u use them in cube model.
