I'm trying to install Crystall XI (Vista) and I get the following error
1327: invalid drive I:/ wher I is a valid network drive. please advise

This is not a Crystal/BO error. This is essentially a consequence of enhanced security in Vista and the fact that one needs elevated security privileges to install Crystal.
Now, I:/ is a network share that is user specific. Network shares are lost when one goes into the elevated security privileges mode required for installation.

Crystal Reports XI, release 1 (11.0) is not supported on Vista. You will have to upgrade to CR XI release 2, with the latest Service pack.
