What is the use of repair Function Group?

Hi Guys

Can someone tell me What is the use of repair Function Group functionality? (CtrlshiftF7 from the Function builder). Where can I (If possible) obtain SAP documentation on this function?

Check the table TADIR , in this you can find a field SRCDEP

read the Datalement REPAIR documentation.

If you want to change an object whose original is in another SAP system, the repair flag is set automatically. This protects the object against imports.

The repaired object cannot be overwritten by imports until the repair is released.
