what is the RFC link Destinations in SAP SCM INTEGRATION.?
RFC means remote function call. It is function module. By using this we can connect the external system to SAP system.
we can copy / update SAP system using this.

Hi,
RFC--> Remote function call.
Remote Function Call (RFC) is the central SAP technology for exchanging data between SAP systems.
Normally master data like material master,BOM , routing, sales order, PIR all the data are created in the ERP R/3 system, for planning purpose all the data are transfered from ERP to SCM(APO).
To transfer the data first we have to define the RFC in the ERP for target system(SCM), this will done with help of ABAPer.
once RCM is defined you can view thr' SM59 transaction in ERP.
Then in ERP u have to create integration model thr' CFM1 transaction, here u have to select what data u want to transfer.
once u activate the integration model then data is transfered from ERP to APO.
In APO planning has done, again planned data transfered from APO to ERP thr' integration model.
Regards
Vijay
