Identify Sales BOM components in a billing document

Hi,

We use Sales BOMs and would like to identify components of a BOM in a billing document. We have the STLNR field in VBAP that gives the BOM explosion number. What is the way that a component of a Sales BOM can be identified in a billing document ?

Hi,

The BOM components will have VBRP-UEPOS set to a value other than zero (i.e. they point to the header entry of the BOM).

Hi Darren,

Thank you for your response. However, the issue that VBRP-UEPOS will also be populated if the sub-item has been generated as a result of free goods / material determination.

We are looking to isolate sub-items created as a result of a BOM explosion specifically.

Do let me know yr thoughts
