Is it possible to run queries in parallel through BOXIR2?
Are you trying to resolve ORA 12801 type errors?
As Amr mentioned, BO just creates the query. Query execution is handled by the db and is transparent to BO.

I'm not trying to resolve ORA errors. I noticed that BO sends the queries (if you have many data providers) in a sequential way. I don't know if it's true that's why i'm asking you help. If you know the BO mechanism about sending queries to db, please provide to me some more info...
Thanks for your replies!!!
This is true. Business Objects sends queries to the database sequentially. I am not sure if there is a document from Business Objects that confirms it though.
Below are couple of useful links for you:

Hope this helps.

i think the BO handel this issue internally
like it does in the Context, make separate queires and send it to the database
the database handle the process of running the queries in parallel execution and send the result back to the bo server,
and also the BO is not related with the query execution process, it just generates the queries and send it to the database, and the database has its internal structure to handel that, and send the result back to the BO server.
good luck
Amr
