Understandin DME engine

Hi all,

I'm working with an ECC6 and I want to create a file with DME engine, but I have some problems. In particular:

1. With DMEE transaction I create my format tree ZXX for tree type 'PAYM'.

2. In customizing:

2.1 I go to "Financial Accounting(New)-> Accounts receivable ana Account Payble-> Business

Transaction-> Outgoing Payment-> Automatic Outgoing Payment -> Payment media-> Make settings

for payment medium formats from Payment Medium Workbench -> Create Payment Medium Format":

Here I add a new line with the same name of my format tre (ZXX) ant I set the flag "Mapping using DME

engine" to X. When I try to link the event 20 to my Z function the system stopped me.

I'm not able to link my Z function t my tree ZXX for tree type PAYM. I don't understand if I can od I'm

faulting something.

I read this link but I don't find where I fault.

What is the error you get while you try to assign?

Was the functional module created by copying from the appropriate tempalte for the event? In your case, it should have been copied from FI_PAYMEDIUM_SAMPLE_20.
