You schedule the report and the variant to run as a background job in the transaction <b>SE37</b> here you schedule the frequency, monitor the jobs and check for errors too. you may change any of the settings i had mentioned.
you can use the <b>Job Scheduling Wizard</b> from the Menu to make a quick and easy scheduling of a report.
