Dear All,
I have SAP-NW2004s system with Java stack.
As soon as I inastall this, when I was trying to login as administrator as user.
It wont accept. But I can login from J2EE_ADMIN as user.
It accepts, but It is not allowing to create users from user administration.
How can we access Portal user as Administrator ?
From there we can create multiple EP users.
How can I get this. Please help.
Thanks.
Kumar.
Kumar,
For Duel stack system Java administartor user is J2ee_admin.
If the system is only java stack then only you have user Administartor.
You can check the role assignment of system user in ABAP.only the role SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO, the UME switches to read-only access for users located in the ABAP system.
To enable read-write access to the system user, assign the system user the ABAP role SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION.
You can check the following link for details

I hope this helps

Hi,
Can't I get Administrator as user default in 2004S or ECC6.0 default installation with J2EE stack ?
When I was installing with R3 4.7 EE with EP 6.0 kernal was640 , I got Administrator as User and
I have System, Content and User administrator roles there in EP.
If I install ECC 6.0 with ABAP and J2EE
the role SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO, the UME switches and assigned.
Even though I could not get Superadmin or User Admin roles when I search in the portal roles option.
How can I get those roles into my portal ?
Regards
Kumar.

Hi,
As per the SAP standards you will have j2ee_admin as the super user in the abap+java stack.
You have got the Administrator as super user id in the 4.7 and EP6.0 because there you have installed EP on a seperate box,
But from 2004s or 2004 we have j2ee_admin for dual stack and administrator for standalone java. I think you have installed a abap+java and EP7.0 on the single box.
Regard,
Vamshi.
