Planned Start date for the Production Order adjusted

Hello,

we have problem regarding on the Shelf life expiration date (SLED) of our production order when there is adjustment on the planned start date for the production order. for example we have created a PO not realesed it start date will be 10.06.2008 thus it make SLED of 11.06.2008 since it total shelf life is 31 days.

But when there is adjustment when this order been released it new start date will be 10.05.2008 it will give us 11.05.2008 it will follow the shelf life been defined in it master data.

this cause us problem, because we use two technology one is SAP and the other is NON-SAP. in non-sap system this is were we made all this production order when adjustment been made on the start date its SLED in the NON-SAP system still the same not been move, but in SAP it also adjust. this gives us different labels of SLED in our product.

we want that in SAP since all data really comes from the NON-SAP system when there is a adjustment in start date the SLED that will not move only those adjusted start date will change regardless on this situation.

Thanks

Hello,

As far as i know, when ever we release the production order this is only the time SAP will create a batch number for it and it will depend the SLED on the start date that PO have when released? is this a SAP standard? and when the PO is ONLY in CREATED status it SLED date can be change when it released depend on the adjustment?

is there a way that even if there is an adjustment on the start date on the PO the SLED that been introduce since it was CREATED will be fixed prior to confirmation, good receive SLED will be the same?

Thanks
