iview personalization

hi

I have created a new iview and marked 'yes' its 'Show Personalize" attribute. When I run this iview I cannot find the Personalize link?

Any idea?

Let me also add that original masthead had been removed by my co-workers some time ago.

Thank you again.

hi,

if you set show personalize = yes in the iview properties, it doesnt show personalize link in the masthead area.

this will add only personalize option in the iview tray.

If you want personalize link in the masthead area please assign eu_role to your user id,

then you will get personalize link

Thanks & Regards

Hi yuval,

can you see the two icons at the right side of iview tray (i.e just below of history and back link in page title bar)

click on the first icon and you get the pop up window in that u have to click on personalize link

you can see personalize button any where

srinivas,

I do not see these links .

The original masthead had been removed and replaced

with an entirely new iview.

Nevertheless, as far as I understand personalize should be attached to each ivew, should it not?

Very strange, I must admit...

Yuval,

Whether or not you give the personalize option, the icons and links appears for every iView. However, it works only if you set the property.

The icons are available on the right hand top corner of the iview. This personalization has got nothing to do with the masthead.
