Reveal how to Install ECC in External USB HDD

Hi everybody,

What are the things we should consider before installing SAP ECC 6 in External Hard disk.

I have done many installations in the IDE Harddisk. this is the first time im doing with Externel USB Hard disk

kindly help me to complete my installation Successfully

Hi ,

better you go for latest version of java,that was problem with java.No problem with operating system.

when IMPORT ABAP starts im getting error.

CJS-30022 Program 'Migration Monitor' exits with error code 103.

Here is the import_monitor.java.log file log

java version "1.4.2_09"

Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_09-b05)

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_09-b05, mixed mode)

Import Monitor jobs: running 1, waiting 37, completed 0, failed 0, total 38.

Loading of 'SAPNTAB' import package: ERROR

Import Monitor jobs: running 0, waiting 37, completed 0, failed 1, total 38.

Start by upgrading you java version it should be at least 1.4.2_12

Mr.Jaun,

I have got the same Error even with the Java version 1.4.2_13.

Iam using Enterprise edition of Windows. will this affect the installation as i have Jave Standard edition?

please help me out to resolve this issue

No. Its jst a Desktop with 120 GB Externel HDD
