Can we get a material reservation no only when actvity is released

Hi,

Can we get a material reservation no only when actvity is released.

We have the Item Cat L. When iam attaching the Material, system prposing the reservation No.

I want to restrict the reservation. Reservation tobe generated only actvity is released like Purchase requisitions.

Hi Raju,

Just a comment: Though you cant control reservation creation, certainly you can control PR based on it. ie Reservation is not considered for planning until status of act/WBS is REL. You can check this in MD04, reservation is not displayed till act/WBS is REL. Further MRP run will not take into account non released reservations.

no it can be set to created as well

in network profile OPUU

set 3 for the field Res./Purc.

set 2 if you want on release only
