costing error

For newly created plant I released the production order, but costing error came

Message that no price could be determined for material XXXX/plant xxxx

Initially I have not marked and released the cost by ck40n and ck24

Wat could be the reason ,

Hi,

Go to CO03, production order display and Control Data Tab. According to the " planned cost calc field, cost being planned by the system. So, while saving or releasing the production order, you must have released the Cost estimate for the finished material. If not, you will be getting this error.

Hi,

Go to T code OKTZ and check the active button is checked. FYI, while changing the Cost componenet structure, automatically system will uncheck the active button.

Hi!

Go for OKTZ and active the tick for acivating your mentioned Cost comp. structure. After activating this only the value for cost element wise will be seen in your cost analysis for production order.

Whether the Release of the cost estimate for the finished product is done by FI person and where it can be released ?for a material X and plant Y its showing the costing error ?
