difference b/w KOFI & KOFA

HI gurus,

what is the main diference between KOFA & KOFI in account determination time.

how it is functioning in sales order

where it will helpfull.

what is the main function b/w this two conditions.

Hello,

The main difference is the separation between Finance part KOFI andControlling KOFK part. When posting is necessary within FI or CO,system will take settings as defined in the system with regard to theentries for KOFI/KOFK.

When KOFK is involved it posts both in Finance and Controlling , wherein Controlling Objects are involved in Controlling postings.

In KOFI only FI posting and nothing in CO.

In you adopt Make To Order scenario, KOFK will be considered. If you adopt Make To Stock scenario, KOFI will be considered.

Hi,

KOFI : we use to post values in FI.

KOFK : to post values in Controlling also.

No accounting documents will generate at sales order level.
