characteristic in multiple cubes

Hi folks,

Just to reconfirm: If I am not mistaken, I can use a characteristic in various cubes?

In other words, if I want to make cubes "comparable" so that I can combine them into a multi provider,

I might want to use a characteristic in all those cubes?

Hi,

You are correct. As Multiprovider provides the union of data avaialble in the infocubes used in it.And for Logical joining of the data from the cubes the infoobjects are assigned as per hte requirement in the Muliprovider definition.
