I am facing Issue with IH01 transaction, When user trying to double click BOM or Equipment from the structure, it pops with

"Choose a Vaild Object "

Any idea about this..

In The IHO1 Page Note , Check Mark the "Equipment Installed " & "BOM " Components , so that after executing u can see Function Loc , equip & BOM List & Then u can Open & Double clicking whatever required

Hi,

I was having the same problem. I contacted SAP. The problem was in the variant of the user. The field named DY_SELMO had value X. It had to be 0 (zero). Issue can be turned on and off with this variable. My problem was resolved like this.

Have u attached material to that particular equipment or Floc?

If yes then it should go to MM03 once u click on the Material.

I have checked and i can go to MM03 once i click on the material.

you need to select the check box BOM EXPLOSION in the selection screen then only it is possible to see the bom

Dear,

This T-code is to structure of FLOC and I think you are using that FLOC which is on top. Choose that FLOC which is below the top FLOC.

Steps for Reproduction

Execute : IH01

Select : Functional location : XXXX

Location Hirearchy : Check

Equipment Installed : Check

Equipment Hirerachy : check

Expand Assembly : Check

BOM Explosion : Check

Explosion of IBase : check

Permits : Check

plant : xxxx

BOM application : INST

Execute from the List i am finding the BOM which is assigned to the equipment when i am double click it should go to MM03 screen But i am getting a message " Choose a vaild Object "

Dear,

Can you check it with IH03 for this requirement?

OR

You check that FLOC which below in hierarchy.

Eg. K1

K1-B01

K1-B01-A11

For IH01 you use either K1-B01 or K1-B01-A11 not K1 since K1 has no superior FLOC

Yes it should go in MM03. once gain just click that material number once and the press Shift+F8

please ensure,

1.check the equipment has the BOM with components mentioned by you,

if there is no BOM for any equipment under the function location (entering in the report), then you get the same message.

This is very unusual problem. If you have any other server then you use that cliet check there, if its working there then check your problem with basis or abaper.

Check with authorization, after executing the report goto /nsu53 and ensure you have all authorizations for that transaction.
