Validity Date of BOM code.

Hi,

I need to know the tables or the functionality which can help to find the validity date of a BOM code. I am a BW consultant and have tried tables like MAST, STAS, STPO but could not find the 'valid to date'.

Dear,

BOM valid-to date is defaulted as 31.12.9999 unless you change the BoM w.r.to a change number in which case the change number will have the end date control. The date before the validity date beginning of the next change number would be the validity end date of the first change.

Eevry time the Vaild to will be 31.12.9999 (this is system setting).

This is valid if you use ECM or Not.

But, will ECM you can control this..

With Revision level concept you can control the BOM explosion also

1.IF you are using ECM - Engineering Change number for BOM Creation/Change means then the valid to

Date can be tracked.

2.The default valid to date for any component in a BOM will be 31.12.9999.

3.Suppose using a Change number say for EG:500000000105,if you are deleting a Component in a BOM

means then the same details can be obtained from the table STAS.The valid to date will be the valid from

date of the Change number.
