Hi,

What is the difference between Reorder point in MRP1 view that is maintained at plant level and reorder point maintain at storage location level in MRP4 view.

hi,

When reorder point is maintain at storage loc level in MRP 4 , the net requirement calculations are carried at this level...

That means the net requirement calculation are not maintained at plant level...

Also,

Effects in MRP from MRP4 view maintained at St. loc level...

When you maintain at sto.loc. level there will be few fields like warehouse type etc will be display which is one case for material in warehouse...

Hi,

For taking stock we need to do GR, at that time we have to enter Storage location , without entering storage location in MIGO i can not take stock and When i can not take stock at plant level without entering SL , then how it will show stock at Plant level in MRP1 view.

Pl guide.

Hi,

So the final conclusion is that if materials are maintained at plant level or reorder point is maintained at plant level in mRP1 view, it states that it will display all the stocks available in all storage locations which are assigned to that particular plant in MMBe code.

Hi,

Reorder point for Plant MRP1 view -

If the stock falls below this quantity, the system flags the material for requirements planning by creating a planning file entry.

With manual reorder point planning, you enter the reorder point manually.

Reorder point for storage location MRP4 view -

If this quantity cannot be met, the system enters the material in the planning file at storage location level, given that storage location MRP is active.
