Bex Analyzer performance

Former Member

Hello,

Some of the Bex Analyzer users in our company get really bad performance when they open a workbook even without doing any filter or drill down, just moving in the excel from one cell to the other might take them a few seconds and it seems like their computer is stuck. It happened only to few users while most of the users donu2019t have a problem at all even in the same workbook. Any ideas what it can be?

Thank you,

Amir

Amir,

Some of our users who have Auto Calc on in the Excel session have hit this issue. If there are a lot of Excel formula in your workbook I've seen this happen.

autoCalc can be turned off on the users side in Excel but that comes with some risks where formula may not be updated if the suer forgets to hit ReCalc.

Regards

Gill

Hi,

If you have performance issue with 3.5 Analyzer(Old), follow the note 1252307.

Thanks

It depends on the system configuration.

Check the below blog which give good details on the same.

Dont forget to check those referenced OSS notes in the blog.

Hope this helps.
