Hi Ritu,

In continuation to the above,

In sales order:

the additonal data can be

1) customer groups

2) condition groups

3) risk management

4) account group info etc..

Hi Ritu,

A) The Additional data in Customer master refers to:

1) Additional attributes for that particular customer.

2) Condition groups which help in pricing for that customer.

B) Additional data in Material master refers to:

1) language in which description of the material is stored.

2) Unit of measure

3) Inspection text

4) document version

5) unplanned consumption of that material

C) Customer material information record does not contain any additonal data as others above.

Hi ,

Generally , the additional data field / Additional Tab page is used to provide additional information..

In customer master, Additional information field is used to group customers..

If Standard grouping doen't meet our requirements, then we may use the additional fileld for that purposes..

If there is an requirement that is not fullfilled via standard, you can use the additional fields.

This would widely depend upon scenario to scenario.
