Hi Gurus;

When my HR consultants are making any entry in the info type 2001 and saving it ,they get a dump saying DBIF_RSQL_INTERNAL_ERROR

Internal error when accessing a table.

What happened?

The current ABAP/4 program terminated due to

an internal error in the database interface.

Please update how thsi can be resolved.

Please reply ASAP.

Detailed error summary is below

Error analysis

An internal error in the database interface occurred during access to

the data of table "PA2001 ".

The situation points to an internal error in the SAP software

or to an incorrect status of the respective work process.

For further analysis the SAP system log should be examined

(transaction SM21).

For a precise analysis of the error, you should supply

documents with as many details as possible.

Also even if there is just one user logged in ,all the workprocess are ocupied and most are waiting in status.

Hi,

The ST22 Dump and error DBIF_RSQL_INTERNAL_ERROR can happen due to a # of reasons.

But, as visible from your posts above - it seems that there is a probem in the database interface (dbsl - database interface library of the wp) of the wp.

Try and kill the wp which are occupied in SM50 with "cancel without core". If not possibel use the dpmon utility from the O/S level to kill these work processes.

If this interface error is temporary you will be able to re-connect. Also check the dev_w* traces in txn ST11 where you will definitely find more information.

Please post the detail ST22 dump. and clearly mention what system, what support pack level etc you have in your system.
