I want to update the Netweaver Portal but have no glue about the different versions. The thing I want to do is to run a Netweaver Portal with KMC and self build ABAP and Java Web Dynpros. Furthermore I would like to go deeper into the programming of these languages (WD4A and WD4J).
The point I don't get is what is the difference between the PI and the CE versions. I think both are advancing the SOA possiblities. But what do I need to be able to develop abap and java stack based applications and let them run on the netweaver platform?
Could someone bring some light into my darkness?
