Hi,
In material master , the base unit of measure is defined as EA, but the order unit is PAC. So, when MRP will run, it should pick up pac as unit. But in info record, price is mentioned as $/EA. So, when MRP will run, will different unit in PIR affect the unit in Purchase Requisition generated?
I have the same question for special procurement type. Special procurement type 10 (consignment) has been maintained in the material master. Now for the same material, standard Purchase info record has been created. Will it affect the Purchase requisition generated from MRP?
Thanks.

Hi,
Irrespective of the price unit mantained in PIR the UOM in the PR generated from MRP will be Base Unit of Measure .But when you will convert the PR to PO the Order Unit mantained in the Material Master Purchasing View will be adopted in the PO.However at the time of mantaining PIR ,when the Order price unit will be defaulted from the material master and if you change it it will accept with a warning message.
This also goes with Special procurement type Consignment etc.
