please explain about FRICW, how important it is and why?

Hi,

FRICE / RICEF is general used in relation to the primary skill sets of an ABAPer. Following are the components in FRICE:

- F - Forms. (These includes Scripts and Smart Forms)

- R - Reports. (This includes classical and interactive reporting)

- I - Interfaces. (This is about ALE/iDOCs)

- C - Conversions. (This includes BDCs and LSMWs.)

- E - Enhancements. (This includes User-Exits and BADIs.)

- W - Workflows

Hello

FRICW comes under functional specs.

F--Forms mostly smart forms

R--Reports classical or ALV

I -- Interface may be with non SAP system via XI or other tools

C--Conversion for feeding data in SAP with automation

W--Work Flow for business process

These documents need help fom functional consultants to get the desired outcome.
